a special neighbour – katla.

What is it like living next to an active volcano? Aron knows the answer. He works as a local fireman in the Icelandic town of Vik which is located next to the massive volcano Katla covered by a glacier. Normally, Katla erupts twice per century. The problem: It hasn’t for the last 100 years. How does Aron feel about that?

“A Special Neighbour – Kalta” is the final documentary of three international students at the Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX).
